The Integrated Health Clinic was founded in 2000 by husband and wife team Dr’s. Karen and Gurdev Parmar. The clinic provides a science-based naturopathic medical approach for patients seeking choice in their health care.

The IHC is a model for a high standard of integrated healthcare delivery, emphasizing preventative medicine and individualized care. Our programs receive referrals from medical doctors, chiropractors, physiotherapists, and specialists including oncologists and gynaecologists.  Noted as forerunners in the health care sector, Dr’s. Parmar and their associates work closely with medical practitioners from all disciplines.

Recognized by contemporaries, Dr. Gurdev Parmar was one of only 57 physicians from across Canada nominated for the prestigious Dr. Roger’s Prize in 2007. He was recently nominated President of the International Clinical Hyperthermia Society (ICHS) and will host the 2018 ICHS conference in Vancouver. Dr. Karen Parmar was the recipient of Langley’s Women of the Year Award in 2008 for her outstanding contributions to the community. Dr. Parmar is recognized within the Greater Vancouver area as a role model for women and an acknowledged leader. Our beautiful clinic is located in the birthplace of BC, historic Fort Langley and a recently opened location in White Rock. Many of our patients spend their morning or afternoon strolling the shops and having a leisurely coffee or meal at one of the many outstanding local restaurants. For our patients who travel from all over Canada and the US, there are several bed-and-breakfasts and hotels nearby that make coming to the clinic for extended periods to receive treatment quite convenient.
